Advanced pilot-driving: The new Audi A8 features pilot-driving – it operates the car for you at up to 37mph.  When the system reaches its limits, the vehicle tells you when to take back control. It also takes charge of driving in slow moving traffic at up to 60 km including freeways and highways where a physical barrier separates the two carriageways. Having a special Al remote parking, the A8 can be parked in and out of a space, without you even being in the car.

Unique lasers to light up:  For this Audi, driving at night will be much easier – it has HD Matrix LED headlights with laser lighting. It is reported to be more than double the range of the high beams beyond 43mph. At the back of the vehicle, as the driver comes nearer or departs from the car – there are LEDs with OLED technology that create a unique animation.

Car suspension motion can scan the road ahead: Audi system uses electric motors to make adjustments, contrary to hydraulics. Cameras are used to view the road ahead. However on the other hand, a computer tells the suspension based on the faults it ‘notices’.

Audi A8 features have upgraded: It is reported to be 38mm longer than the previous one –  it has new standard length of 5.17 metres that is slightly smaller than before.

New engine klaxon: To make them more productive, they have redesigned the V6 3.0 TDI and 3.0 TFSI, with 282bhp and 335bhp.  For significant performance, consumers will have the option of a 540bhp 6.0-litre V12. Tthey will also have an option of a 429bhp 4.0-litre eight-cylinder at a later stage.

Then there is a hybrid, which combines an electric motor and the 3.0-litre TFSI for 442bhp, 516lb/ft of torque and an all-electric range of 49,8897 kilometres.

Luxurious interior design:  Audi announced that the new design is ‘reductive’, which means there are new features and improvements – the instrument panel is clearly visible of buttons and switches. The rotary button and touchpad have a 10.1-inch touchscreen display. There is also a secondary 8.6-inch touchscreen display – one can use it on the centre tunnel console to access air conditioning and make text inputs. When the driver activates a function in the upper or lower display, they hear and feel a click by way of confirmation.

Spa treatment in a car: It provides an option of a relaxation seat. The lucky rider can sit back and enjoy the pleasure of a footrest, foot massage and even a foot warmer.

The Audi A8 price and date is yet to be confirmed.  However, It is reported that orders may open in September 2017, while first deliveries are expected in late 2017. The world debut will take place at the Audi Summit in Barcelona.
